Tonight I did portraits for my friends Teri, Ryan and Kailey. Teri and Ryan have been my friends since high school and they have one of the most adorable little girls EVER! Kailey is so cute--she kept us laughing throughout the whole shoot. She's 2 1/2 and when you're shooting with kids this age, I've learned that it's best to kinda let them run the show. I made suggestions but oftentimes we ended up going with Kailey's ideas. And she had some great ones! Ryan and Teri did a great job with it too. Oftentimes parents tend to get stressed out when their kids don't cooperate perfectly but I love it when they just laugh and go with it--making the shoot fun. We get great photos that way. So take this advise parents for your next photo shoot!
