For Christmas, George had teased Katrina that he was giving her a charm bracelet from Jared. On the list of things Katrina wanted for Christmas that year, a charm bracelet from Jared's was towards the bottom (the very bottom).
Then, one evening, shortly after having knee surgery - George told Katrina he was going to make her dinner. She came home to find the house cleaned, candles lit, and wine poured. Impressed by the effort it must have taken with a healing-knee, Katrina smiled. Oh how she loved him.
"Something came in the mail for you..." George said.
He had her close her eyes and hold out her arm.
Filled with anticipation, Katrina's smile widened.... until... she felt the distinct sensation of a Jared's charm bracelet being placed on her wrist.
"You got me a freaking charm bracelet!!" She laughed (and cried a little inside)! She opened her eyes, looked down to her wrist and saw the word YOU resting on her skin. She turned the bracelet more to see the word WILL. And when she looked up from the charms, there was George - down on his poor, painful knee - asking her to be his bride.
It was the best gift she'd ever received.
George and Katrina tied the knot on Saturday in front of their closest family and friends. It was a much-anticipated day full of emotion. The day started out with the girls prepping at The Westin in downtown Phoenix:

Katrina's father walked her down the aisle for their traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony:
I loved the joy on their faces as they walked down the aisle amid a shower of rose petals:
The bridal party was a good looking group:
And George and Katrina were so sweet together. I love these portraits we got of the newlyweds:
The reception took place on the 11th floor of The Westin complete with a great view and colorful cocktails:
The first dance:
And plenty of Greek dancing!
What a great day! Congratulations George & Katrina! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your wedding day!
