Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.

Highlight of the week: I took a quick trip to Denver to serve on the board of directors for this ministry. They have a piece of my heart and it was so fun to take a break from the demands of my own business to vision and dream about what God is doing through this ministry that has hugely impacted my life and continues to be a force of grace and blessing for me and countless others. Plus it was fun to bundle up and see the snow!

Yes, I did this:
1 -- Officially gave up on this season of The Bachelor. Yuck. Juan Pablo, you are so cute but such a disappointment.
2 -- Toured historic homes in downtown Phoenix with two friends. This has become a yearly tradition that I love. Next year I'm thinking about bringing my stuff to see if someone will let me move in.
3 -- Smooched this nose about 100 times. Man, I love it!

I'm one of those annoying people who is beyond thrilled that the Olympics are here!! I've been Tivo-ing my favorite events and watching them as strategically and efficiently as I can since the government hasn't yet adopted my proposal to institute a nationwide mandatory 2-week holiday every two years, and I am beyond slammed with work. I wish I could just stop everything and lay on my sofa with Dixie for two weeks to savor the experience.

Celebrating: The Thirst Relief Mentor Auction raised enough money this year to help bring nearly 2,000 people clean drinking water for life! And I got to be a part of it! I just did my 90-minute coaching session with the winner of my auction item yesterday and it was so fun to get to know him, be a part of his journey AND help save 30 lives in the process. What an honor! If you haven't heard of Thirst Relief and their amazing work -- click here to check them out and get involved!

Lots to celebrate this week -- we also celebrated Sara's 29th birthday! Dixie's gift to Sara was letting her pet her more, and I took her out for lunch. Sara has been with MJP for over 3 years now and it's hard to put into words how much I appreciate her. She's also become a cherished friend. Happy birthday Sara!!!

Feeling Blessed: I've been a bit of a mess this week -- a ball of stress and emotion -- and some of my dearest friends have blessed me in countless ways with their time, brilliance, and encouragement. I'm so thankful that I don't have to walk this journey alone.
