Highlight of the week: Quality time with family, honey-baked ham and homemade apple pie.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Shopped till I dropped with my cute sister. Thankfully we made it home before dropping, unlike these poor folks.
2 -- Watched The Santa Claus, The Santa Claus 2, AND The Santa Claus 3. Classic Tim Allen.
3 -- Juiced 150 lemons.
4 -- Slept through my alarm and woke up only 20 minutes before I needed to leave for a flight. Had to apologize to my seat mate for not showering or putting on make-up, but hey, I got my butt in my seat before take-off!
I am loving the belated fall that has descended on my front yard. The little kid in me wants to rake all those leaves together and jump in them. My sister and I grew up in Minnesota doing just that every fall. No white Christmas for us here in Phoenix, but I'll take the pretty colors!
Celebrating: The birth of my Savior! BEST GIFT EVER. I played my favorite Christmas song -- Welcome to Our World by Chris Rice -- on repeat and joined my church family for worship on Christmas Eve. I'm so thankful that God did not stay far away, but came near, so that He could forevermore be our Emmanuel -- "God with us."
Feeling Blessed: Once again, this time of year, my clients remind me of why I love what I do. Dream job = being a part of creating cuteness that ends up back in my own mailbox, and getting to shoot people in love in magical places like this.
