Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Dress: RW & CO / Sparkle peep-toe black heels: Gianni Bini from Dillards / Earrings: Nordstrom
Highlight of the week: Getting dressed up to attend our local WIPA meeting and hear this amazing girl and frequent subject on my blog speak. It was also SO fun to connect with industry friends, and there was even a BAND at the meeting. So, of course, we took the liberty to dance the night away.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Went out to breakfast with a photographer who was in from out of town, and who I was meeting for the first time, and spilled my orange juice right in my lap, clear down my legs, and into my heels. That's what I get for talking with my hands so much, I guess.
2 -- Finally broke down and called a plumber to unclog the tub after discovering a baby gecko who apparently lost his life in the standing water left after a shower. Sorry little guy!
Spent some time trying to force Dixie to befriend a kitten. She was not convinced.
Celebrating: The start of fall TV! SO many good shows! A few that are on my Tivo this fall: Survivor, Person of Interest, Parks & Rec, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Elementary, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Modern Family, Biggest Loser, and The Amazing Race. Ok...so more than a few.
The next MJ2Day is coming up in less than 3 weeks, and we have a new sponsor who just joined the ranks! Epiphanie Bags is giving away 1 AMAZING camera bag per workshop!! Eek! And we just received it in the mail this week (along with one that I've been drooling over and am keeping for myself).
Feeling Blessed: I've been reminded this week of how blessed I am to get to do such a variety of things I enjoy, and that challenge me, as well as interact with and meet so many interesting people... and call the sum of all this good stuff "my job".
