Highlight of the week: Dinner out with my dear friend and associate photographer Michelle, and her husband Haines. Topped off with a cut-throat game of Settler's of Catan back at my place. One of the best games ever!
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Spilled nearly the entire contents of my 40 oz. water bottle twice within a 3 hour period.
2 -- Ate a dessert with both bacon and chocolate in it.
3 -- Waited over 60 hours for my laptop to restore from a back-up.
It's been one of those weeks where everything needs to be fixed. The hard drive and battery in my laptop needed to be replaced, my cable went out, and my email was down for over 30 hours, causing me to need to change hosting servers. Fun times. Oh, what a glamorous life I do lead.
Celebrating: The So You Think You Can Dance performance finale was this week! SO GOOD. I've been a huge fan of Aaron, Jasmine and Amy's all season. So I was thrilled with it. But Jasmine is my favorite to win. I kind of don't like that they have a guys' competition and a girls' competition. It should just come down to 1st through 4th place at this point, I think. And my picks would be: 1st -- Jasmine, 2nd -- Amy, 3rd -- Aaron, 4th -- Fikshun. The girls were SO good this season. But they're all so freaking lovable. Can't wait to find out the results!
Anyone who has the nerve to display a sign like this front and center in their yard, gets what's coming to them, if you ask me. Come on! You're just asking for it! Of course, I still picked up after her. But I was tempted not to...just for a second.
Feeling Blessed: It's been a crazy week with lots of frustrations. BUT the inside of my fridge is clean, my bedroom curtains are washed, and my car passed emissions testing.
