80. Visit one of the 15 states I haven't been to yet
Yay!! I made it to Hawaii! And yes, the water IS actually that color. Kim Jarman and I are shooting Andy and Jonna's wedding on Kauai on Saturday. We're good friends so it's great to have a traveling buddy for my first ever trip to Hawaii.
We flew in to Oahu yesterday evening and hung out there most of the day shopping, driving around the island and laying out on the beach. I'm not much of a beach bum but I may change my mind after this trip. We were on Kailua beach today and it was quite possibly the most idyllic beach I have ever been on. There was a constant breeze so I was never too hot. SO relaxing.
Tonight we flew into Kauai and are settling into our condo in Poipu near the site of the wedding--shipwreck beach. It's been dark so we haven't seen much of Kauai but we have a lot of fun things planned in addition to the wedding so I'm excited!
When I started my 101 in 1001 list back in February, I put this goal on it, not knowing that I would get the chance to shoot a wedding in Hawaii later this year. So I'm excited to check one more off my list!
