Highlight of the week: Eating these tacos and fries with a dear friend by this pool during the most beautiful July day you could ask for in Phoenix. We even sat under a cabana for a bit while it rained. Mmm...wish I could re-eat those fries. And relive that day.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Tried a new chicken crockpot recipe out on a friend and then ate the leftovers nearly every night this week.
2 -- Got worked over by Shaun T. and his abs once again. I don't know how people do Insanity multiple days in a row. If I desire to walk upright, once or twice a week is all I can muster.
Filled the void left by the lack of summer TV programming with a Duck Dynasty marathon. It has funny bits, disgusting bits, and I just can't look away. I love Jase's commentary. And want to give Si a hug.
Celebrating: This sweet girl that I'm coaching graduated from her summer discipleship training program and I got to tune in to be a part of the whole thing via live video stream! The ministry is based in Colorado and it was SUCH a blessing to be able to tune in and hear all of the students share from their hearts how their lives were impacted in the past months. Praising God for changed lives!
Got schooled on the new features of Lightroom 5 by The Lightroom Master himself. Also got publicly razzed by him for still using Camera RAW and Bridge for color-correction. One day soon I will make the switch.
Counting My Blessings: Living in the desert, in the middle of 5 months of 100+ degree temperatures makes this weekend forecast a welcome blessing.
