Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.
Favorite Outfit of the Week: Top: New York and Company / Mint cropped pants: Anthropologie / Heels: Alloy / Bracelet: Ruche / Earrings: Nordstrom
Highlight of the week: I got to speak to a great group of local photographers about one of my favorite topics -- blogging! I shared my blog's google analytics and tips on how to develop a loyal following. As always -- it was fun to meet others in my field and see them get excited about taking their businesses to the next level!
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Had an hour-long text conversation with a stranger who wrong-number-texted me this photo of a mountain lion he had just caught in a tree in northern Arizona. There are some fascinating people in the world.
2 -- Drove across town to buy frozen fruit from Costco. My local Costco is temporarily out (something about building new freezers) and I can't live without my daily green smoothie. So it had to be done.
Anyone have any summer TV shows to recommend? I'm in love with So You Think You Can Dance as always, and am sarcastically commenting my way through The Bachelorette (Michael with diabetes is the cutest), but there's not much else on. In Arizona, we are confined to alternating between our pools and air-conditioning all summer, so I need some good TV!
Celebrating: NATIONAL DONUT DAY!!! Sara and I have faithfully carried the torch for this great holiday for three years in a row now. And I just want to say publicly, right here and now, without shame, that I celebrate the donut.
My world is being rocked by this book right now. SO good!! One of the best I've read in awhile. Hopefully I'll finish it soon so I can give you a more thorough review...and also go back to getting to sleep at a decent hour.
Counting My Blessings: My last (and hottest) wedding of the season is behind me. It was a great spring, but I'm thankful to have a break from shooting weddings until October!
