Ahh, high school.
Just the words send us back years (for some, decades) to a time of innocence, a time of excitement, a time of awkwardness, a time when the world was at our feet. Those two words certainly elicit many memories for Saturday's bride and groom; for Valeria and Ian, high school was a time of love... because Valeria and Ian are high school sweethearts.
They met at a friend's birthday party where Valeria decided to "conveniently" put her number in Ian's phone. After a few days of non-stop texting (Valeria remembers finally falling asleep at 3am, phone in hand, mid-text), they both knew this could be it. Four years later, overlooking the city of San Francisco, (and after a creme-brulee-dessert-proposal almost went terribly awry) Ian asked Valeria to marry him. And, just like she had when Ian asked her to prom, Valeria said yes!
It was such a blessing to witness these two truly sweet people united in marriage on Saturday! Here are some of my favorite images from their day:

It was a balmy 109 degrees in Phoenix on Saturday, so the wedding was moved inside. But thankfully, plan B at Villa Siena was a gorgeous option!
Everyone was emotional as Valeria's father walked her down the aisle:

Then it was back inside for a fun evening celebrating with family and friends who travelled in from all over the world!
