Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.

Favorite Outfit of the Week: Skinny jeans: Lucky / Blouse: LOFT / Sparkle peep-toe black heels: Gianni Bini from Dillards / Earrings: Gift / Necklace: Boutique shop in Greenville, South Carolina

Highlight of the week: Finding friends who are unfamiliar with my other FRIENDS: Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe. How is it possible, you ask? They're in their mid-20s, so I guess that's their excuse. But I'm making them sit and watch the entire series with me. It's almost as fun as watching it for the first time myself!

Yes, I did this:
1 -- Asked Sara, while staring into the fridge, how many times it's ok for a person to eat waffles for dinner in one week. Then proceeded to make them and eat them for the 2nd time in a matter of days.
2 -- Taught someone how to use their camera over dinner.
3 -- Waited for an entire hour in the eye doctor's waiting room. Don't even get me started on how ridiculous this is. Next time, I fully plan on bringing my laptop and getting some work done while I wait.

Realized while prepping this post that a few months ago, I unknowingly posted two Frivolous Friday vol. 57s. I might need to start over because apparently I can't reliably count beyond 50.

Celebrating: The number of meals I ate that I neither made, nor paid for, this week. I think it was around 7. Thanks to all my generous family and friends for letting me mooch off of you! And for cooking yummy stuff.

My friends, Amy and Jordan, are doing Insanity and invited me to join. I only did it two times this week, but I'm waddling around like a grandma. I've also begun to speak in the 3rd person thanks to Shaun T. As in, "Shaun T. can't touch his knee to his chest because his quads are so big." "Melissa Jill can no longer lift her foot off the ground because her calves hurt so bad, but if she could, she would kick Shaun T. in the mouth."

Feeling Blessed: Fourteen years ago, I went through an amazing program with a ministry called Kingdom Building Ministries that is located in Colorado. This summer and throughout the coming year, I have the opportunity to coach a student who is going through the same program. We haven't yet met in person, but we got to talk over the phone this week for the 2nd time and pray together, and I am feeling so blessed getting to know her and see how God is working in her life! I serve an amazing God!
