Highlight of the week: A trip to Colorado to reconnect with and serve on the board of directors of a ministry that has deeply impacted my life. I'm heading home today but it has been SO refreshing -- a spiritual retreat of sorts.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Forgot to pack my iPhone charger AGAIN. I'm a horrible packer apparently. I've decided to keep the extra charger I just bought in the Denver airport in my purse at all times.
2 -- Instagrammed a photo of my pup at her most dreaded and humiliating moment.
Who else is mad about the finale of Downton Abbey? It's SO MEAN for them to make us all fall in love with this family and then kill them off one by one. Especially to end the season with a death when we have to wait six to ten months for the next season to begin! Boo.
Celebrating: The reason for living in Phoenix, Arizona has arrived -- blissfully gorgeous spring temperatures. Walking Dixie is like therapy every day. And I happened upon one of my favorite flowers this week enjoying the weather as well.
This week has been full! My trip to Colorado is book-ended by last weekend's wedding and another tomorrow! Can't wait to share more photos Monday!
Feeling Blessed: After the sublime weather I mentioned above earlier this week, Phoenix was hit by a freak hail storm and snow in the northern suburbs. Crazy! This is what my backyard looked like. So I got the whole spectrum of weather this week from sunny 70s, to crazy hail, to a winter wonderland in Denver. SO COOL!
