Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.
Thought I'd switch it up this week with a little instagram collage for Frivolous Friday. Let me know what you think!
Highlight of the week: Quality time with three past brides/friends. Shannon was a friend before her wedding, but she still counts. She reminded me how to play Cribbage then let me beat her twice. Great conversation with Kindra at one of my local favorites -- True Food. And Rachel & Seth are considering moving into my neighborhood, so we got together with my realtor sister over Thai food. I love any excuse to keep up with past clients!
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Pre-typed "911" into my phone since I was home alone when the cable guy came. Then I assumed he stole my phone when I couldn't find it after he left. Thankfully he turned out to be neither a murderer nor a thief.
2 -- Bought three pairs of shoes including these super-comfy new shooting flats from Clarks.
3 -- Inadvertently dined and dashed when I went to lunch with this sweet local planner and friend at a new favorite local restaurant she introduced me to. The food was SO good and they even brought us free cookies! But despite the fact that we sat there for two hours and the place was nearly empty when we left, they never brought us the bill and we didn't even THINK of it until I called Ashley frantically last night wondering if she paid. Yikes! Definitely calling today to settle up, but I can't believe I did that!!
I'm participating in an online book club and this week I played catch-up on our first read. I'm only on chapter three, but there's been some good stuff so far! (See above pictured quotes.)
Celebrating: Found this pleasant surprise on the street while walking Dixie. Sometimes walking your dog pays in more ways than one.
How cute are these save the date cards designed for my clients by Idieh Design? I would have never thought of using a photo as an envelope liner! Amazing!
Feeling Blessed: I walked into the office recently and found Sara on the floor filing tax receipts for the year and getting everything organized. I'm so incredibly blessed to have her on my team!
