Thanks for all the comments on the 52nd Frivolous Friday post last week guys! I'm not sure how much longer I'll continue in this format -- I may change it up now and again -- but I appreciate your kind words and am continuing for the time being! So without further ado...
Highlight of the week: Going out to dinner with fun local photographer friends to a restaurant that's been on my list for a long time. We were supposed to go ice skating too, but showed up, and the downtown, outdoor rink was gone! Kind of a bummer, but ended up laughing all night nonetheless.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Installed a huge canvas grouping only to realize that two of them had been wired to hang upside down :(.
2 -- Threw every cold remedy imaginable at some ominous symptoms. I'm determined not to fall prey to the crazy flu going around.
Got fed up with this situation and headed to Best Buy to throw more money at technology. Have yet to program my new toy, but I'm hopeful.
Celebrating: A new sofa!
Finished another great book this week. It was written by a 93-year-old Jewish man about his childhood in an English ghetto during WWI. Highly recommended!
Feeling Blessed: We had four nights with below freezing temperatures in Phoenix this week, and even though my pipes froze twice (I don't think they built houses in the 50s here to withstand frigid weather) no damage occurred and all systems are go now that we're back up in the 70s :).
