Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Sweater & striped shirt: LOFT / Skinny jeans: Lucky / Boots: Nordstrom / Earrings: Charming Charlie
Highlight of the week: A spontaneous bike ride with neighbor friends to one of my favorite local restaurants. I haven't owned or ridden a bike in years. Thankfully, a friend had an extra one and the saying, "It's like riding a bike," proved true.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Watched the entire first two seasons of Downton Abbey in 5 days. And cried at the end.
2 -- Explained for the umpteenth time that no, I don't put fake eyelashes on my dog.
Met up for lunch with this sweet girl who is nearly 9 months pregnant with their 1st! It was so fun catching up! I wish I would have taken a photo, because seriously, she looked like the wedding day version of herself had swallowed a basketball. Prettiest pregnant woman ever!
Celebrating: A new year and new possibilities! I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve! I celebrated at two parties and was home before 11pm to ring in the new year on the sofa with Dixie. It was a perfect night.
This week I was a lemon juicing machine. Still have a few hundred to go, but thankfully it's somewhat relaxing AND makes the house smell nice :).
Feeling Blessed: Shopping in January means good deals! I'm getting a new 55" TV installed next week and will finally be living in the land of HD. I know, about time, right?
