Highlight of the week: Taking the night off last night to have dinner with my family and watch the CMA awards. Felt so good to relax after the week I had. Also gave out a little award of my own.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Photographed 21 hours worth of weddings in two days and lived to tell about it.
2 -- Tried to put the salt in the fridge after above named event.
Loved seeing so many of your amazing costumes on instagram. Seriously impressive how much people get into this holiday. I, however, am the scrooge of Halloween. I can't imagine anything ever compelling me to want to put a 3-foot spider on my house. This year I did enjoy handing out candy with my neighbor friends next to this cozy goodness. Really, they all handed out the candy. I took on the important job of telling Tim repeatedly to make the fire bigger in my best monster voice.
Celebrating: Enjoyed a sliver of pumpkin pie. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It really should last more than one day. Is anyone opposed to extending the celebration to the entire month of November?
Received an email from a photographer addressed "To Whom It May Concern," and asking if they could 2nd shoot. Seriously!? Do a little research. I mean, my name IS my business name. Unfortunately I did not find myself concerned enough to reply.
Feeling Blessed: I missed much of the hurricane Sandy coverage due to my wedding coma and workaholism, but I did catch up late this week. SO devastating! My prayers go out to all of those who have been left without homes. Feeling blessed that I have a roof over my head among many, many other things.
