Over Labor Day weekend I had three engagement shoots in Flagstaff three days in a row. With thunderstorms in the forecast every day, we were lucky the first two days with sunshine and clear skies. I guess for the third session -- Jessica & Jay's -- we were pushing our luck. We ended up getting rained on, but this cute couple was so easy-going and I think the rain and stormy skies really ended up adding to the character of the shoot in a cool way.

Jessica wanted an urban feel for their shoot with lots of brick, and Flagstaff definitely delivered!
Jessica and Jay brought their sweet Portuguese Water dog, Arson, along for a few photos. You KNOW how much I adore dogs, so I was thrilled!! What a cutie:
Jessica and Jay trained Arson to sit with this sign around his neck for their save the dates. It was so adorable. But I love that he started chewing on the sign the first chance he got -- haha!!
So many favorites...
