Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Top: Anthropologie / Gray tank: Forever 21 / High-waisted skinny 7 For All Mankind jeans: Nordstrom / Heels: Alloy / Necklace: Charming Charlie
Highlight of the week: July 4th. It was in the 80s. In Arizona. That is unheard-of. Took two walks with Dixie, hung out inside with my parents playing games while it rained and went out for pizza. No fireworks but it was still perfect.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Watched every moment of the Olympic trials that I could. Only 3 weeks till Opening Ceremonies!!!
2 -- Exploited my dog for this photo.
Anybody else watching The Bachelorette? Emily gets the prize for being the bachelorette with the best intuition for who the crazies are out of all previous bachelorettes. Sean would be my pick, but I have a feeling she'll end up with Jef. All three who are left seem like relatively good guys though.
Celebrating: Rest and health. I spent most of the week with a head cold. I cleared my schedule and spent my days make-up free alternating between working on my laptop on the sofa, and napping on the sofa. The rest felt so good. It only makes me sad that it takes getting sick for me to block out time for it.
In the middle of this book and can't put it down. What a captivating true story of a President who I only formerly knew of as having the same last name as a cartoon cat. Such a lovable man. And what a fascinating time in our nation's history.
Feeling Blessed: It's off-season in Phoenix and I'm loving all the extra time to work on goals and projects for my business. I have some new photographer resources coming soon that I can't wait to share!
