Josh and Elaine got married on Saturday at Troon Country Club in Scottsdale. The whole day was great but I especially loved the portraits and reception. More on that in a minute.

The day started with hair and make-up. Here's the beautiful bride getting her hair done:

Josh and Elaine chose to see each other before the wedding. It was a hot day, so they were troopers but God blessed us with a cloud at the perfect time (it was mostly sunny all day) and we had this gorgeous light.
I couldn't decide which of these next two I loved more so I posted both:

Not only was the light beautiful but the other side of the sky was filled with these dark blue storm clouds which made for some amazing shots.

The ceremony took place in the lobby hallway of Troon. It was decorated beautifully.
The ceremony was meaningful and emotional--you can see more shots in the slideshow. But I want to share some shots of the reception with you here. First of all, I loved how the room was decorated--beautiful centerpieces and these fun paper lanterns:
Josh and Elaine had obviously taken some lessons and danced a beautiful first dance:
Then the party began. My favorite band -- The Shining Star Band -- kept things hopping all night long.
