I was invited for a second year in a row to my friend Kindra's annual Cookie Decorating Party! I just love that she does this. With how busy this time of year is for me with my business, I savor every opportunity to slow down and do anything holiday related.
I rarely ever make sugar cookies. You think they will be fun to make but then you get into it -- mixing the dough, chilling the dough, rolling out the dough, cutting the dough, baking the cookies, decorating the cookies. It's more work than it's worth, really. But the beauty of the cookie decorating party is that Kindra does all the hard work and all of us lazy folk just show up for the fun part -- slapping the frosting and sprinkles on and.... EATING them. Yum. The cookies are long gone but I'm sitting here salivating.

Here's the plate of cookies that made it home with me. The not-so-pretty ones were consumed in the process :).
Fun times! And now I'm off to find something sweet to eat...
