Chris and Breanne met in Las Vegas at a Sema car show. Somehow, though I'm not sure of the details, Chris was eating Breanne's room service food. Though that wouldn't necessarily end up turning into a relationship for everyone, for Chris and Breanne it was the beginning of something beautiful.

In an effort to get to know them better, I asked Breanne some questions about the man she was about to marry.
MJ: What was your first impression of your fiance?
Breanne: I thought he was VERY attractive ;)

MJ: Tell me three things you love about your fiance.
Breanne: He is hilarious, has common sense, and is really intelligent!

MJ: How did he propose?
Breanne: We were in Maui for our 6 year anniversary and it was our second day at the beach. After we had been swimming for a while he sat next to me and asked me to marry him. At first I thought he was kidding but then he pulled out a ring and I started crying.

Then I asked Chris the same questions. Here were his answers:
Chris: She's cute.
Chris: Her face, her teeth and her funnies.
Chris: i proposed on a beach, she started crying.

Ha! I love it. I love these two and I've been looking forward to photographing this wedding since the moment I met them. I love how they are together - so natural, so easy, so comfortable. It's a love that doesn't take many words -- it simply speaks for itself.

Breanne and Chris were married Saturday. The day started at The Westin in downtown Phoenix.
Breanne's bracelet, Jimmy Choo heels and fluffly bouquet made my heart flutter.
Breanne was a sea of calm as the day began.
Her mom and sister helped her into her dress:
What a beautiful bride!
Chris looked very dapper himself:
The ceremony took place at the Bentley Projects -- an art gallery in downtown Phoenix.
The ceremony set-up was AMAZING. The ceremony backdrop was an 8x6 foot boxwood covered with Manzanita tree branches and assorted floral. Moss spheres hung from the rafters above the ceremony chairs.
The flower girl proudly carried her wand. So adorable:
Breanne was escorted down the aisle by her father:
I love the emotion in these moments:
Husband and wife!
While the guest enjoyed cocktail hour at the Bentley, Chris, Breanne and I jetted over to the Phoenix Art Museum, the reception venue, for some portraits. We had to include some of the art in the mix, of course:
The details for this wedding were all conceptualized by Victoria Canada -- one of my favorite coordinators -- and they were gorgeous. Going with the theme of "urban garden" the seating card display was a custom table built around a 9 foot Manzanita tree right in the lobby of the museum.
And here is the gorgeous reception space:
Everywhere you looked, amazing details abounded. The cake was hand-painted by Sedona Cake Couture.
Victoria knew that Breanne loves books, so she implemented vintage books into the decor as table numbers:
The first dance was very sweet:
And the the amazing day was topped off with a party!
Wow! Thanks Breanne & Chris for allowing me to capture your wedding day!
