Martin & Melissa were married four years ago today on 8.15.09 in Houston, Texas. You can see their full wedding blog post here.
Today, in honor of these two, I asked them if they would be willing to share their favorite wedding photo and why it's so meaningful to them. They picked the above portrait on the right, which is one of my favorites as well, and Melissa shared this about it:
"We have our photo album displayed at the house, but when you asked us to pick our favorite photo, it was great to sit back & reminisce about our wedding. Everyone near & dear to us was present to witness the union of our two families. I honestly thought I would be single forever. But since Martin & I met, we have been inseparable.
Out of all the amazing pictures you took, this was our favorite. We love it because it reminds us of what an amazing day that was for our families and how happy we both were. The background depicts the old school Houston charm with the multicolored buildings lining the street. August 15th was such a memorable day for us and you were able to capture that moment and freeze it for us forever. Thank you so much Melissa!"
It was my pleasure you two! What a wonderful day! I can't believe it's already been four years!! Happy anniversary and here's to many more!
