I've officially been sucked in to loving newborn photography. But not just any newborn photography -- lifestyle newborn photography on film.
I've been shooting these types of sessions for a couple years now and each time I do, I feel SO blessed and SO inspired creatively. I love the intimate nature of an at-home session with parents and their new little one. Each location and each family is unique. And I love the challenge of capturing the visceral connection between humans intrinsic to newborn sessions -- a connection that has some similarities to the ones that I document at weddings. Newborn sessions allow me to continue a relationship with past clients who have become so dear to me, and I can't pass up the opportunity to join them in the next step of their journey.
