This week I was in detail heaven.

I was the sponsor photographer for The Special Event Wedding Lunch. The Special Event (TSE) is the largest tradeshow and conference in the world for event professionals. And this year, it was hosted in Phoenix by our very own Heather Crabtree and Jennifer Thinnes of Outstanding Occasions.

The Wedding Lunch is a HUGE event during the conference. A ballroom at the Phoenix Convention Center was transformed by amazingly talented vendors and planners into a grand lunching setting. There were 72 fully decorated tables showcasing 9 unique designs:
The theme for The Wedding Lunch this year was "In Love with Metallics." This was one of my favorite of the 9 table designs. I love how the light reflected off the mirrored vases:
In addition to the grand ballroom set-up, there were 7 galleries put together by some amazingly creative teams of vendors to inspire the guests with over-the top creative ideas for decor and details. I had the pleasure of shooting all of these galleries and the grand ballroom the evening before the event. I went in Tuesday night and shot details non-stop for four hours then stayed up till after 3am editing them so I could supply a CD of images that was then duplicated and handed out to the 800 attendees. That way they all went home with low-res images of the detail inspiration and they didn't need to worry about taking photos to remember it all themselves. Kinda brilliant!

I can't possibly share with you ALL the spectacular details from the 7 galleries. But I wanted to share some of my favorites.

The green gallery in the photo at the top of this post was sponsored by Fresh Wata - a boutique furniture and decor rentals company. I LOVE the color, the bench with the stripped pillows on it and the white chandelier hanging in the arbor. So fun!

This next gallery was sponsored by Wildflower Linen with help from Victoria Canada Weddings and Events - both local Phoenix companies. Check out the AMAZING colors, the custom dance floor provided by Platinum Pro and the to-die-for linens and chair covers:
This next gallery done by Tic Tock Couture Florals was one of the most creative. Talk about making a farm-theme sophisticated! Check out the cow on the wall! The other side of the room was bordered by a similar female cow and the cake was made out of cheese! I also love the dramatic lighting and bold color.
This booth was sponsored by Wendell Design Group Florist - another local company. They brought in 3D Sounds who donated a lighting package. It's amazing what a difference lighting makes in terms of the overall effect of the decor. I LOVE shooting events with professional lighting. It really takes details to the next level.
This final gallery by Napa Valley Linens was done in an "Old Hollywood" theme and was one of my favorites. There were SO many scrumptious details to shoot!
AMAZING!! Thanks to Heather and Jennifer for asking me to sponsor TSE Wedding Lunch! It was so fun to connect with so many talented vendors.
