It was such an honor to work with Sarah Watts of Sarah's Garden on the concept and execution of this styled wedding shoot. I love that more and more personal expression has entered into weddings. Gone are the days where a couple's wedding has to fit a certain mold. Everyone is free to make their wedding about themselves, and there is nothing I love more than shooting something that is unique and personal to the couple. This shoot arose out of this concept -- a young couple madly in love (which as you can probably tell, our models Matt and Arielle are!) who feel most at home in the outdoors and who want an intimate elopement for two. This field in Flagstaff with the pine and mountain backdrop made for the perfect location for just such an event.

Thank you to the fabulous team who pulled together something truly lovely: Styling & Floral: Sarah's Garden // Gown: Rue de Seine via The Dress Theory San Diego // Calligraphy: Graceline Art // Ribbon: FrouFrou Chic // Hair & Makeup: Jessica Fierro // Models: Arielle Van Wolvelaerd & Matt Harris
