I thought I'd just come out and say it and not try to sugar-coat what I'm trying to accomplish in this post. I hate asking people to donate money. The only time I EVER do it is when I truly believe in the cause and am desperate for the answers and change that this precious money can bring about. As mentioned in a prior post, I'm participating in the upcoming Walk for Autism in Tempe, Arizona. It's coming up a month from today on November 2nd!! I have a good size team--family members including my 2 nephews with Autism, and some photographer and church friends--who are coming out that day to walk the 5k course to help raise awareness and money to find a cure for this epidemic. Each of us is trying to raise small one-time gifts. What I'm asking is that all of you reading this consider clicking on this link and giving only 5 or 10 dollars. That's it. One time gift. No further obligation. It's not a per-mile thing or anything like that. I know so many people who are struggling financially but the idea is that even though we aren't able to contribute huge sums of money, if each of us contributes a little, we can make a HUGE difference. HUGE. So that's all I'm asking. Thanks everyone! And you can click here to join us on November 2nd as well. It's super-fun!
