Can you tell by this first image how fun this engagement shoot was!? I absolutely LOVED that Jay and Lisa were up for putting their fun personalities and some of the things they love most into their shoot. We met up on Saturday in the Arcadia district of Phoenix and Jay and Lisa brought along their '49 Mercury and their 2 year old Golden Retriever, Mason. When Jay first got the Mercury, he thought it would serve as a great chick magnet. But they both joke around that it has turned out to be better for attracting old men. And they're right! During our shoot we had two men over the age of 60 approach Jay to talk about his car!

As you know, I am a HUGE dog lover and I love it when couples include their furry family members in their shoot. Oh how I love this shot and I know Jay and Lisa will too.
I love this location we found. The orange trees really added to the feel we were going for:

After we got plenty of shots with Mason I spent some time with just Jay, Lisa and the Mercury:
We wrapped up the shoot and our evening with dinner at Postino's Wine Cafe -- one of Jay and Lisa's favorite retaurants.
SOOOOO fun. What great clients I have. I can't wait for the wedding -- just a little over a month away!
