Every Friday night Jay can be found working as the disc jockey at The Mint -- an ultra-lounge/restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. Back in 2007, Jay was having a hard time finding the red vinyl records he wanted to get his hands on for his job. But Kiera -- on their first Christmas together -- found them online and gave him one of the best Christmas presents he's ever received.
Needless to say, I was completely STOKED when these two wanted to do part of their engagement shoot at The Mint. The shoot was very different from much of what I do. I used off-camera flash for the whole thing and Jay and Kiera were total sports with the slower-pace of the shoot. But it was all worth it. I LOVE that these photos say something about this couple and hope they cherish them forever! Plus the images turned out super-hot! Here are a few of my favorites:
