Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.

Highlight of the week: It's gotta be Thanksgiving -- my favorite holiday. I spent mine at my parents' house here in Phoenix. There were just 7 of us. We ate my favorite meal of all time (all homemade), watched the national dog show (a tradition), walked the dogs to the park, and ate three different types of pie. It was a simple celebration that was perfect in so many ways.

Yes, I did this:
1 -- Sold a rug on Facebook in a matter of hours (Who needs Craig's List?)
2 -- Ate octopus and a donut in the same meal
3 -- Woke up at the break of dawn for a sunrise shoot, drove 20 minutes and knocked on a door....only to find out I was 24 hours early. So needless to say, I was blessed to do the whole thing over again the following morning....AT THE BREAK OF DAWN.

Celebrating: This week I did my last major shoot of the year! Usually I am flat out busy through the holidays, so I'm counting my blessings this year to be able to slow down a little early and savor them.

Another thing to celebrate today -- Black Friday! I'm not one for braving the stores, but I love the online deals! And this year I'm celebrating by discounting all of my products for photographers by 15%! Feeling Blessed: I have SO MUCH to be thankful for!! Topping off my list are: my sweet Dixie-dog, a close-knit family, an amazing church, two businesses that keep me challenged and inspired, and a Savior from whom all blessings flow.
