Ever since Kate & Andrew started dating, they knew that they fit well together. They made one another laugh and were honest with each other … two key requirements for being a solid couple. But it was stress, rather than fun, that convinced Kate that Andrew was the man she was going to spend her life with.
In 2014, Kate took an opportunity to volunteer as a nurse in a small, rural village in India. It was a difficult and rewarding experience, and after her stint in the village was over, she wanted to travel and enjoy India. She invited Andrew to come join her, and the pair spent the rest of the trip together. In Kate's words, "India was one of the most unique, hectic and stressful places we had ever experienced." After the trials of that trip, Kate knew that Andrew was more than just a guy to have fun with … he was a man she could rely on and who could rely upon her in return.
He was the man she was going to marry.
When Kate & Andrew's wedding day dawned gray and rainy, I was a little worried that the weather might steal some of their joy. I couldn't have been more wrong! These two supported each other throughout the day, full of smiles and willing to make every unexpected situation work. It was such a blessing to see their love for one another shining through the clouds!
Despite the weather, Kate & Andrew's wedding was absolutely gorgeous! I'm so grateful to have been the one who got to capture it on film! Here are a few of my favorite images from this one-of-a-kind wedding:
