Talan & Lacey told me that they didn’t have “some epic moment” when they fell in love. Instead, they began as friends, and their friendship evolved into a romance. Their love and connection slowly deepened over time as they grew closer, until they realized that they wanted to spend their entire lives together.
I don’t know about you, but that kind of devotion sounds pretty epic to me! And it always seems like the relationships that grow from a friendship have a little special sauce, if you know what I mean. These two are goofy together and have so much fun just been being in each other's presence.
Because Talan & Lacey had their sealing in the Phoenix LDS temple, this wedding day went a little differently from most that I photograph. I met them at the temple doors, along with their friends and family, to celebrate when they emerged as husband and wife. I loved capturing everyone’s excitement! The outdoor reception that followed was held at Trilogy at Vistancia, and it was So. Much. Fun!
