I was recently contacted by a producer of the show "Your Business" that airs on MSNBC on Sunday mornings. The show focuses on issues facing small businesses and the producer was interested in doing a feature on Melissa Jill Photography -- specifically highlighting my associate photographer program. At the time, I really had no idea what I was getting into, but two weeks later a crew showed up to my home office to interview me and follow me around for the day. It was the same day I was photographing this styled shoot with the gorgeous Khristine & Sonny modeling. These two were married just last year and hired one of our associate photographers, Rachel, to document their day. I was so jealous that I didn't get the chance to photograph them, so I asked them to model for me for an inspiration shoot the first chance I got. It worked out SO well that they were modeling for me that day -- the MSNBC crew ended up interviewing them as well! So fun! The segment aired nationally on the show yesterday, and I grabbed the clip to share here for anyone who missed it:
