just had to do it

I just couldn't pass up this Christmas sweater at Walmart. WAY TOO CUTE. And I'm convinced Dixie likes it.

Not only could I not pass up getting one for Dixie, I also convinced myself that the neighbor dog needed one. Remy is a little Shitzu who lives next door and he and Dixie are best buds. They play together daily. My neighbors and I have exchanged keys and we let each other's dogs out even if we're just gone for a few hours. Yep, we're crazy dog lovers like that.

So yesterday I got home from running errands, let Remy out and dressed them both in their new festive duds. Remy proceeded to chew on the little poof ball at the end of his scarf:

They immediately forgot about their clothes and started pouncing on each other like normal. These two hold nothing back when they play. It's hilarious to watch (and somewhat difficult to photograph).

Dixie was a total spazz but Remy stopped long enough for me to catch him in his calm state. He gets a whole collage to himself because his cuteness can't be contained in one photo:

I bribed them with treats and got one shot of the two of them together. Love Remy's underbite in this one.
