Everywhere I go in Vancouver people are apologizing to me about the weather. I guess they don't realize that I'm here to escape the 100+ degree oven I've been living in for the past 3 months. The cool temps, overcast sky and rain are all a welcome change. The other day Jamie and I went out for a walk in the rain and took our cameras with us.
We took some photos of each other enjoying the downpour. Jamie is a broken record about the rain. I think she's told me at least a dozen times that she LOVES it.
If the photography thing doesn't work out for me, I'm thinking umbrella modeling could be the way to go:
We have had a few clear skys too though. While exploring downtown the other day we came across a vintage car show:
It was fun to discover that car trunks really used to be trunks:
This is my first time spending time in Vancouver and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a beautiful city!
Today I head home to the inferno. Thankfully we've only got another month or so until the 100+ degrees lifts and gives way to some of the cool breezes I've felt while here.

Tomorrow I'm going to post some of my favorite shots from a portrait shoot I did with Jamie's family. So stay tuned for that!
