It’s a little hard to remember a time before Facebook was open to everyone, but back in the olden days (by which I mean 2006), it was only available to college students. One of those college students, a California boy named Josh, used Facebook to help him connect with students at ASU -- preferably CUTE ones -- before he transferred there. Alli friended him back, and the two talked online for months before finally meeting on campus at Arizona State.
The connection that they had shared online was even stronger in person, and Josh & Alli dated for most of their college years. Then Josh graduated and moved back to California. The two broke up and assumed that their college romance would stay just that — a part of college that they left behind.
But clearly, that was not the end of the story...
In 2012, Josh was in Arizona over Halloween weekend. He was in Old Town one night when he bumped into his old flame. They started talking again, and soon were dating long distance. Only a few months into their new relationship, the two took a leap of faith and moved in together in Phoenix. The risk paid off; their relationship flourished, and even their dogs get along!
For their engagement shoot, Josh & Alli wanted to go back to the campus that first brought them together. I had such a wonderful time photographing these two cuties and their dogs, Rondo & Harper! And I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this spring!
