Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.

Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Yellow striped top: Nordstrom / High-waisted skinny jeans: Nordstrom (brand: 7 for all mankind) / Wedges: Aldo / Silver necklace: Lily

Highlight of the week: Too. Hard. To. Pick. Seriously -- it was my birthday week and I felt OVERWHELMED with blessings. And since I'm the birthday girl, I'm going to take the liberty of listing more than one highlight of my week for this edition of Frivolous Friday:
1 -- Birthday dinner with my family out on the patio of this favorite local spot.
2 -- A most thoughtful gift from sweet friends that made me laugh out loud more than once.
3 -- Birthday breakfast-for-lunch.
4 -- A birthday surprise stop-by from this sweet couple.
5 -- And continuing the theme of food-with-a-face, this birthday rice-crispy pumpkin from my neighbor, which is now in my belly.

Yes, I did this:
1 -- Already spent my birthday money on four pairs of boots and wedges. Yes four. But all on sale!
2 -- Did the warm-up and stretching section of Insanity, took Dixie on a walk, and called it all "a workout".

Have you ever craved a good old-fashioned ice-cream sandwich? And then realized that you are lactose-intolerant and can't have one? I have. No bueno. BUT LOOK WHAT I FOUND AT TRADER JOE'S THIS WEEK!! SO yummy!

Celebrating: I'm not going to give you the gory details, but I super-sleuthed a technology mystery that has been plaguing Align (my album design company) for months. It was an AMAZING personal victory of sorts and warrants celebration.

I'm walking for autism tomorrow! If you feel compelled to get me a belated birthday gift, I would LOVE any help in reaching my goal of raising $6,000 for autism research! Click here to find out more and donate. Big hugs to all of you who have donated already! You are making a huge difference!

Feeling Blessed: I had the honor of praying with a number of friends this week. Being able to speak with the God of the universe, in itself, is such a huge blessing, and doing so in community with others, even more-so.
