Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.
Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Sweater: Swell / White lace top & skinny jeans: Lucky / Boots: Nordstrom / Necklace: Etsy
Highlight of the week: A night on the sofa with this cutie catching up on favorite TV shows. The last few weeks have been killer with shooting nearly every day and editing nearly every night to keep up with it all. My introvert side was thankful to get a breather finally.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Played Christmas music virtually non-stop all week. It even made culling through 4500 wedding photos less painful.
2 -- Burned my finger while making snickerdoodles. But my taste buds were all, "Suck it finger! Take one for the team! Totally worth it!"
I was so excited when I pulled the Christmas lights for my tree out of storage this year and they actually worked! Usually the first thing I have to do is make a trip to the store to replace them. But this year only about 7 of them were out, and you can hide that right? In my blissful laziness, I put them on the tree and finished decorating. This week, lo and behold -- half of them went out and then a few days later, the rest followed suit. I'm convinced there is some type of conspiracy with the light makers where they make them only last for a season so you HAVE to buy new ones every year. Yes, I'm on to you, you evil Christmas light people.
Celebrating: Shot my last wedding of the year Saturday! Thankful for each and every one of my 14 weddings this year and also thankful to be done!
Fun times were had by all at the PUG Holiday Party last night. For Exhibit A, click here.
Feeling Blessed: I feel this truth to my core: "Goodness and mercy pursue after me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." (Psalm 8:6)
