Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.
Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Jacket: Anthropologie / Wool skirt: J Crew / Ivory top: Boden / Boots: Nordstrom / Tights & earrings: Target
Highlight of the week: Duh. Thanksgiving! Turkey, mashed potatoes, family, the National Dog Show, a walk to the park in 78 degree weather, game night and one of the few days during the year when it's perfectly acceptable for me not to respond to emails. Loved every minute of it.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Ate half a dozen peanut butter blossoms in the process of baking them. But it's only because I was in charge of quality control.
2 -- Updated my running playlist to include "Moves Like Jagger" and it's been on replay in my mind ever since.
Finally upgraded my Canon 70-200 2.8 lens to the newer version II model. Loving it! I'm selling my used 70-200mm 2.8 IS for $1,100 OBO. Email me or post in the comments below if you're interested!
Celebrating: A very Fall-ish weekend. Fall-fest at my church -- The Grove -- complete with massive bonfire and hayrides. Then on Sunday it was fun to watch a refrigerated truck fill up with boxes of meals to feed one family each for Thanksgiving. Very cool to be a part of!!
Just finished a Skype coaching session with a photographer up in Alberta, Canada! Technology is super-amazing. I love chatting business with photographers and Skype makes it feel like we're sitting at a coffee shop face to face.
Feeling Blessed: It's family portrait season! I'm having so much fun seeing and reconnecting with past clients during their shoots! Sessions are scheduled for the next 5 days straight! Should be fun!
