Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.
Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Dress: ModCloth / Cami: LOFT / Heels: Nordstrom / Belt: Target / Bracelet: Charming Charlie
Highlight of the week: Family birthday weekend. Red Lobster Friday for my brother-in-law Josh's birthday followed by Noah's birthday party Saturday. Soaked up every moment of it. I feel so fortunate to not only love my family but really dig them. And THE WEATHER. Usually from mid-May to mid-October in Phoenix is all 100+. But it was in the 80s! Sat on the back patio during Noah's birthday and made Josh grill me a hot dog. Glorious day.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Left a new roll of toilet paper on top of the dispenser holding the empty old one until it was nearly gone. I work so hard building my businesses but when it comes to bath tissue, I'm all kinds of lazy.
2 -- Looked up spoilers for The Bachelorette. I never read the end of a book first, but for some reason with this show, I like to know.
Was working from the sofa one day and this happened. LOVE HER.
Celebrating: Two full weeks in a row with very little on my schedule means my bottomless hole of a to-do list is getting worked over. Love feeling productive!
Bought Alan Jackson's album of old hymns on iTunes. There's just something about old hymns. Listening to them makes me feel like peace is being poured over me in liquid form.
Feeling Blessed: Connected with a blog reader in Australia over email this week and talked about faith. What a blessing the internet is for connecting us with people we would never have crossed paths with otherwise.
