Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.
Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Dress: Anthropologie / Cardigan: JCrew / Heels: Alloy / Belt: Target / Earrings: Nordstrom
Highlight of the week: Breakfast with a dear friend at a cute cafe while the rain poured down outside.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Introduced Dixie to some potential clients at the end of a meeting because they were dog people and I thought it might gain me some points :).
2 -- Got up and wrote an email at 3 in the morning in an attempt to stop the thoughts that were ceaselessly rolling around in my head.
3 -- Watched a 3 hour Say Yes To The Dress marathon. If I see another satin mermaid gown with ruching...
I had the honor of speaking to a group of professional photographers in Syracuse, NY about album workflow and sales via Skype one evening. Other speakers fly all over the world, or tour the nation in a bus, but I think I beat them all this week with my gig! I didn't even have to leave my home office!
Celebrating: I've been sick for over 3 weeks, and have struggled to sleep well the whole time, but the other night I got the best night sleep I've had in a LONG time. Felt like a new person the next morning!
Watched a 9/11 documentary that brought it all back fresh like it happened yesterday. It's been 12 years, but I still can't fathom the horror. It truly is mind-blowing to consider the depths to which the human race can sink, and the heights to which we can soar.
Feeling Blessed: My God is good. "A refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him." -Nahum 1:7
