Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.
Highlight of the week: Dinner and a doggie play date over at a friend's cute historic home in downtown Phoenix. Dinner in with friends is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening. It seems to make for the best conversations.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Ate 1/2 a bag of almond hershey kisses.
2 -- Got emailed by someone wanting family portraits in Italy. Unfortunately, they weren't interested any longer after finding out I live in Phoenix.
3 -- Woke up to THE loudest thunder I have ever heard. It sounded like my roof was exploding.
There's no favorite outfit of the week photos this week because Sara, my in-house photographer, was home sick for most of the week. And the one day she did come in, there was no make-up on my face. And we can all agree... no one wants to see that.
Celebrating: Rain!! Only in the desert do people instagram their driveways in celebration of rain. I think Phoenix was on a 150-day drought or something crazy like that, so this downpour was a source of great joy to many.
Bachelorette finale this coming week. Who watched The Men Tell All episode? Could they have been more obvious that Juan Pablo is the next Bachelor without actually coming out and saying it? You won't hear me arguing with going that route though :).
Counting My Blessings: I have the cutest feet-warmer in all the land.
