My cute cousin Cady was married on Saturday in Tampa, Florida. I couldn't be more happy for her. She and Branden are a great couple and I'm so happy I got to be a part of capturing their wedding day memories.

This wedding was an emotional one for me. I often cry at weddings, but there were many tears this day -- many of joy for my cousin, but also some of sadness for the absence of my aunt and Cady's mother, Beth, who we lost two years ago. Beth would have been so proud to see her daughter so radiant and happy! Her presence was missed.

Cady looked absolutely gorgeous on her wedding day:
The ceremony was at 11am but we started early and were able to do all the portraits ahead of time, which turned out to be a good thing since the day became increasingly hot and muggy.

Branden and Cady were married in the same church that her parent's were married in 27 years ago. A candle was lit in memory of Beth:
The reception took place at the nearby restaurant Bon Appetit. The views from the windows of the venue were stunning and provided a perfect backdrop for the nautical theme:

After lunch the party started in earnest!
