101 in 1001 #24....check!

24. Visit Andy & Shannon in NH once a year I made it back to the land of tolerable temperatures yesterday. I was in New Hampshire visiting this cute family for the past 10 days and I loved every second of it. I go way back with Andy and Shannon to before their kids were born and they lived in Arizona. We've been through a lot of life together and they're just super-special people. Their kids are the most cuddly that I know and extremely well behaved. And every time I go out to visit they welcome me into their family for a week and ask me to stay longer the next time. I've been out to visit them each of the past 3 years so I get to check off #24 on my 101 in 1001 list. This one made my list because of my effort to think through the people I love most in my life and things I could do to bless them. But obviously going out to New Hampshire each year to see some of my closest friends fits more under the category of a blessing for me than it does for them. All the same, they enjoyed having me visit and I had fun going so everyone won with the list :). I chose to go out in January each year for a number of reasons. It's a slow time for me. And I love being able to experience winter for a short while then fly back home to 70 degrees in January in Arizona :). I really did have so much fun in the snow and was disappointed in 2007 when they supplied none for my visit. I'm excited to check another one off my list but I will definitely continue to visit these cherished friends regularly and often. Thanks again Andy and Shan! Love you guys!
