Portraits coldest portrait shoot EVER

I've been to NH each of the last two years in January to visit my friends and this is the coldest year yet! In the past I've spent a bunch of time outside taking photos of the beauty of New Hampshire but this time it's pretty painful so I've been spending much more time indoors. Every year I've done some family portraits with the Merz family and they are SUCH troopers. For the first time they bundled up in their snow gear instead of just wearing regular clothes and we headed out into the 11 DEGREE FRIGIDNESS. The shoot was super-short but we still managed to capture the cuteness. I got a bunch of shots of Madeline (10) and Grace (5) the other day when we went snow shoeing, so I got some of cute Marshall (3) today:

The GRAND PRIZE for the lengths a family will go to for photos definitely goes to these troopers. And I will graciously accept a prize for squatting and sticking my rear in the snow to get the shot. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do :).
