I am a member of the local Phoenix chapter of WIPA - Wedding Industry Professionals Association -- and I had the opportunity to sponsor our most recent networking event held at The Montelucia in Scottsdale.

It was super-fun to photograph all the prettiness -- centerpieces by Camelback Flowershop, linens & chargers by BBJ Linen, rentals by Classic Party Rentals, and stationery by idieh Design:
These meetings are such a great way to connect with friends in the industry and meet new one:
Heather Crabtree and Jennifer Thinnes of Outstanding Occasions are the founders of the Phoenix chapter of WIPA and gave a friendly welcome to the attendees:
One of the great things about WIPA, besides the networking and how well-done the meetings are, is that they are very focused on education. Sue Hershkowitz-Coore, an internationally recognized communications expert and author, was brought in to speak to us on the topic Communicating when Strangling isn't an Option. She was super-entertaining and I definitely learned a thing or two!
The meeting was topped off brilliantly with yummy macaroons, cake balls and petit fours from Classic Cakes and Confections:
So much fun! Can't wait to see what is in store for the next event!
