not above bribing


Tonight I shot portraits for my good friends--the Swanson family. I've been their family photographer and practically part of their family for years now. Whenever we set out to shoot photos I know I've got a very small window of opportunity to shoot. The Swansons get the record for fastest portrait shoot. I have to be on it right from the beginning. And we can pretty much pick one setting to shoot in--there's no mozying around looking for great spots. We pick one and stick with it.

Here's some of my favorites of the boys. Colten just turned 2 and looks like he should be modeling for baby GAP:


Sammy is 4 and this is his first year with glasses:


And Hayden is 7 and gave us a challenge getting a genuine smile out of him:

In order to make the shoot successful, Julie has figured out that bribing works quite well. We stopped off for some of this afterwards:
